Jeffrey Friedman serves as CEO of TowerFive Real Estate Group. With a degree in Real Estate Finance and Investment from NYU-Schack, Mr. Friedman has the knowledge and insights to capitalize on unique real estate opportunities. His formal education coupled with many years of hands-on experience -- gained through extensive work on both the financial and physical aspects of properties -- has resulted in the development of both a sharpened and broad approach to real estate investing.
Prior to TowerFive, Mr. Friedman served for over six years as Managing Director of Goldmont Realty Corp, a large real estate company. In that capacity, he was responsible for a portfolio of both commercial and multifamily properties across many states. He oversaw both the acquisitions and asset management transactions of the company, giving him the ability to work on the financial and physical sides of the real estate business simultaneously. It was there that he gained deep respect from peers and veterans in the industry by constantly adding value. His diligent, focused and out-of-the-box approach created significant value, especially for assets that seemed complicated, difficult or unattainable. In the office, he coordinated sophisticated underwriting, set up complex financing, and negotiated deals with national tenants.
Of equal importance, he also put boots-on-the-ground running major capex projects. From design, architecture and bidding to cost analysis and project construction oversight, Mr. Friedman walked and touched the multitude of components required to optimize each property’s construction and systems. Mr. Friedman has successfully arranged, touched and handled all facets of the real estate process with projects that required “heavy lifting”. It is this combination of deep knowledge, skill, drive, and innate talent that he brings to bear at TowerFive.
President
Solomon Zolty serves as President of TowerFive Real Estate Group. An established and highly respected real estate owner, operator and investor, Mr. Zolty has been buying, managing and investing in multifamily and commercial real estate for over 30 years throughout the U.S. and Canada. As a Managing Partner of his own real estate family office, he personally owns a large portfolio of residential apartments in addition to managing Multi-Family and Office holdings and various other types of investment property, both in North American and Canada.
Continuing his own father’s legacy of 60-plus years of real estate ownership built on integrity, Mr. Zolty brings a rich history of real estate investing as well as deep knowledge and sage guidance to the TowerFive organization. Having owned and operated a sizeable real estate portfolio through many economic cycles, Mr. Zolty has a unique perspective. From the vantage point of watching the growth of his family portfolio from one building to many thousands of apartments in high-value locations, his ‘old school’ experience gives him a long-term perspective while having deep respect and appreciation for every dollar earned and invested. Moreover, his desire to leave a lasting legacy compels Mr. Zolty to guide and ensure the success of the next generation of real estate operators.
A philanthropist, Mr. Zolty also sits on the Boards of various major institutions and is a mentor to many charitable and non-profit organizations.
